Let’s start with the fact that March 4 is President Trump’s Congressional Address. As the calendar inches toward March 4, 2025, the energy is building around what is likely to be a defining moment in American history.

President Trump is set to address a joint session of Congress on that date, invited by House Speaker Mike Johnson to share his "America First" vision for the nation’s legislative future - and for this address - congressional attendance is "mandatory," with every TV network expected to broadcast it live.

This will be more than a routine speech… The obvious is that it will be an opportunity for Trump to make some bold proclamations (yes, even bolder than what we have already seen), and he is likely to flex his electoral mandate (he won both the Electoral College and popular vote in 2024) and set the tone for a Republican-led Congress.

But there is something much deeper going on behind the scenes and in the energy of it all.

First things first, many people (even Americans) don’t know that March 4 was the traditional inauguration date for U.S. presidents up until 1933.
